Deluxe Adult Belle Costume and Plus Size Belle Costume

In this Adult Belle costume, you are sure to win the heart of any Beast. Playing pretend is no longer just for little girls, as now you too can dress in a lovely Belle Halloween costume.

Shipping in sizes Medium (8-10) and Large (12-14), this officially licensed dress by Disney truly allows you to feel like a princess. The yellow gold dress arrives with an attached petticoat, gathered skirt overlay, pink rosettes, and matching gold headpiece (which can also be used as a choker). The overlay and off-the-shoulder necklace sparkles with a touch of glitter, as does the floral print on the bodice of the gown. (Note: It seems as if size Medium is on order with a lot of shops, however we did find it in stock at Costume City.)

If you need to find a larger size, this year a Plus Size Belle costume, nearly identical to the deluxe Adult Belle costume, has been released. It ships in sizes XL (18-20) and XXL (22-24). This royal French style costume dress features miniature pink flower embellishments dotting the line of the  gathered skirt overlay for a tiered look. A headpiece also arrives with this costume, which you can also use as a choker. The only noticeable difference between the two ballgowns is the off-the-shoulder neckline, as it appears that the plus sized Disney Belle Costume has small straps to assist the neckline.

When shopping for an adult Disney Belle costume, we’ve found it a bit difficult to find the proper accessories. The Belle tiara can fit adult heads, but it does have a child-like appearance. If you have brown hair long enough to pull back, we found an excellent ponytail clip that would work perfectly as a Belle wig. It’s official name is an adult Amelie clip on brown ponytail, which we found at both Costume Discounters and Costume Cauldron. If you want to top off your Disney Belle Costume look with elegance, Disney Couture has a line of stylish jewelry, which includes pieces featuring roses for Beauty and the Beast. You can choose between a beautiful pair of earrings or a pendant necklace. While slightly pricey, these pieces can be worn throughout the year and would make a lovely addition to any wardrobe.
